Help a mommy in need. Only your kindness can help at this point.

I am a single mother of 4 my, kids ages range from 9-17. Up until last year, our lives though never rich I managed by th grace of God to atleast have food on the table for them. My life changed after going with a friend of mine to an appointment out of state. We were driving through Georgia on May 2 2007 when my SUV rolled on the highway. We skidded over 400 ft., landing on a tree that ejected us off it's branches. Emergency crews did not expect anyone to be alive. Those moments of chaos were scary, especially since my children were in NYC. My fear was that I'd die and they would be left alone in the world. In an effort to protect the youner children, they were not told what happened to me. My youngest son took it the hardest since he found out by accident hearing family and friends crying about "their poor mother". He thought I had died. To his day he is in intensive therapy requiring medication. I had severe damage to both my hands. I have had 4 surgeries, and occupational therapy ever since. My friend whom has been helpng me raise my children for the past 4 years, sustained injury to his foot and spine. He is in need of spinal surgery, and even with the surgery there is no guaarantee he will gain full function of his lower limbs, however he will be paralized without it for sure. My friend and I are just that friend's and he does not live with me, but once we manage to get him the medical treatment he needs, my kids and I are planning to have him stay with us during his recovery. We as a family have bared the financial hardships, but right now we are in severe need of someone's help. In a couple of weeks my kids start school. My daughters don't work cause they are helping me at home and with my appointments. they also help take the boys to the park and library. Mostly to distract them from the daily grind of things. I am lucky we live in a state where they school system provides breakfast and lunch even in the summer. I don't know what I would have done without it. My kids are good kids, and my family has many needs, right now the most important is that we need to get them school supplies, and start up clothes.
I will take any help, cash or gift cards, any help no matter how small is more than I have.
Trust me it will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you and God Bless.

Need Help To Buy A Small Travel Camper/Trailor
Wednesday 20 August 2008 - 18:23:48

My only child lives 15 hours away from me & is pregnant with her 3rd child, this baby has been diagnosed with HypoPlastic Left HeartSyndrome, that means the left side of his heart is not forming, when he is born he will need heart surgery & be in the hospital the first few months of his life. She has two older children, an 11 & a 4 year old girl. I need to be able to go take care of my granddaughters while their mom is at the hospital with the baby. I have no idea how much it will cost, but I need a small camper/trailor that I can pull there with my truck. I am on Disability & don't even know how I will get the money to pay for the gas to drive there.
Thank you for even reading this.

Please help us to help ourselves :)
Tuesday 19 August 2008 - 17:28:46

Hi, we are a family of 3, myself, my partner and our beautiful daughter of 17mths. Currently I am not working as I am looking after our daughter, my partner has just finished studying a Diploma and is perfecting his skills in sound engineering, we have just moved house and money is extinct.. We are finding it hard to keep up with household bills and food alongside our exsisting expenditure - let alone having the spare money to buy clothes and toys for our baby. I would kindly ask for help to pay off our loan and other debts so we can keep up with the essentials. We have debts of about £4000.. My parents are also finacially desolate despite hard work and commitment ill health is holding them back. Anything above our need will be used to help their situation. Anything donated is gratefully received as the pressure is really straining us at the moment. This idea is very good and should I be in a position ever to give something back I certainly would.
Thankyou for your time.

Be our Angels!
Tuesday 19 August 2008 - 15:15:25

As embarrassing as it is, I thought I would take a chance.

This is the worse situation I have ever been in! Honestly, I don’t know where to begin. I’m almost 30 years old with some college education and an accent. I came to this country for an opportunity to have a better life. The first 20 years of my life I lived on the other side of the world with my mom and 2 siblings trying to make ends meet. I came to America not speaking English, but I knew I could make the best of it. I’m a lesbian and live with a woman and 2 kids. We are both currently unemployed, but not by choice. We are applying for jobs, any job will be great. She filed bankruptcy this year, and I have over $300,000 debt which is what my house is worth. We can’t sell it for that price because of all the foreclosures in town. My bills are $3,300 a month, I used all my credit cards and loan money, next month if we don’t have jobs I will not be able to pay bills, unless we both get jobs. (I pray to God that we do) At same time we have kids 50% and my partner has to pay child support. She owes $4,000 in back child support. We always have kids more than 50%, but for some reason the judge sees my partner as male in ex-relationship. The kids have the same donor but different mothers, both were adopted by the non biological mother. The Judge and mediator say it’s wrong to separate kids. I’m not sure about it. What is worse to have two houses and parents who can’t stand each other or be with the biological mother in a loving home?
To add to our problems: in bankruptcy my partner lots her car. Three month ago we bought a car for $3,000, two month later the motor blew. It will cost $1600 to replace it. We are selling everything and anything to have some money, not much left to sell I’ll tell you that. Our friends are helping us with groceries and other things. Your help will meant alot to us! Thank you.

big dreams bigger debt/please help NOW!!
Sunday 17 August 2008 - 04:11:47

My husband and I own a small auto repair shop in Southern Minnesota. This has always been his dream..We are in our second year of business and have started to solidify our customer base...The amazing part of this story is that he has made all of this work off the sweat of his own back..He did a major restoration of our old dairy barn and turned it into a full blown auto repair facility. He has NINE herniated disks that would typically cripple the average person. He also employs a young man that has FAS and cystic fibrosis and is recovering from a presc drug additction. We can't afford I have been in charge of the finances from day one and have failed miserably almost bankrupting us. Our home has gone into foreclosure for the second time. I need to pay our mortgage $1600.00, our insurance $500.00 our current parts bill is $3000.00 with out this we can not stay in business. vehicle payment 660.00 (behind about to repo) our propane bill is $2200.00 for last years fill and they won't come out until we pay that and we are on empty. He works so incredibly hard to make everything work and I make a mess out of his hard work...We are trying to stay on top of many things but our immediate needs are critical to the business-we AREvery hard workers and don't want to lose everything. Through two messy divorces and my poor choices we have no personal credit..if there is ANY one out there that can help us through these hard time FAST...we will pay it forward to the next people that come into our lives-PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN...WE DON'T WAN'T TO GIVE UP!

Be my guest! Help me buy a bed and breakfast!!!
Sunday 17 August 2008 - 04:09:09

Hello good folks! First of all, thanks so much for reading, contributing, and caring about the dreams of others! It means a lot to me that you are even willing to read my page... and in doing so, you're witnessing a tiny glimpse of my imagination and heart!!!

ABOUT ME:

My name is Rosie. I am a cheerful, creative, and hardworking 26 year old graduate student of historic preservation from rural Pennsylvania.

In addition to my graduate study, I am a full time server at Outback Steakhouse and a dedicated volunteer at my local family science and history museum. In short, I like to keep busy!!!

MORE ABOUT ME:

I've always had a passion for service. Making people happy, getting to know others, and really making them smile is something that makes me feel like I've got the power to make a true difference... which, actually, is part of the reason I found it so fufilling to finance my own undergraduate degree through waitressing!!!

But- getting back to the subject- second only to my passion for people, has been my love of historic architecture. And, be it through combining these deeply held interests, I discovered my lifetime dream...

THE DREAM:

My lifelong dream is to own and operate a bed and breakfast! Because my favorite type of architecture is art deco, I would most like to acquire and renovate a forgotten deco era property and restore it to its former grandeur and then some, garnishing all bedrooms with 1930s film star inspired glamour! I would make sure my guests felt like stars too, with plenty of simple, yet lavish extras!!! (Maybe a bedside martini, a silk smokerobe, or a quiet evening in the jacuzzi listening to jazz!)

Sound enticing? Maybe YOU can help me and be my first guest!

This has been my one and ultimate goal for quite some time now and I can't imagine anything that would make my life more complete than sharing my passion for pampering and history with others!!!

PLEASE HELP!

PLEASE Support the Donkeys!
Sunday 17 August 2008 - 03:56:42

HELP ME SAVING THE POITOU–DONKEYS FOR THE FUTURE GENERATIONS!

My 11 year old son and I live on a 9 acre rented farm with our rescued pets (currently three dogs, a cat, and two goats) and my very special Baudet du Poitou-Donkeys.
My long-time ambition is, like a few other Poitou donkey owners, to breed and therefore rescue these wonderful heavy animals. Did you know that there are only 600 or so Poitou Donkeys left worldwide and they are in danger of extinction?
But money is short. I am a former (female) firefighter, bringing up my children on my own and just love to help.

I can supply time, barns and paddocks but will need financial help with the purchase of more mares (jennies) as well as vet bills, trailers, never ending building work for the stables and so on.

If you want to help I would like to ask you to donate as much as you can and/or as often as you can. The money will only (*) be used for the advantage of all my current and future donkeys and my other rescued animals on the farm!!!

Let's do something good together!

Kindest Regards and Thanks!

* P.S. In memory of my baby-son Patrick I will donate 10% of all received moneys to the Children’s Hospice!

Little help from you would mean a lot to person like me....
Sunday 17 August 2008 - 03:53:11

To all the readers of my story:
Hi, I'll keep this short and simple.
To be honest, I find myself wierd doing this thing.
But I've left with no choice but to ask help from other people even if I don't know them personally.
I'm really hoping that somehow there are people willing to extend their helping hands.
I'm a businessman, unfortunately things did not turn out well and now I'm in debt.
I don't want to drag my family into my problem but I just couldn't help it.
I'm hoping to raise funds by asking help from you.
Thank you so much.
God Bless
