Well for the first time there was no Christmas for my family this year I have always been able to pull off a Christmas miracle in the past but this year no such luck.
I tried to do the smart thing in September and consolidate all my bills with my 1st and 2nd mortgages. My original mortgage company got nasty and put my home in foreclosure forcing me to accept the first offer I got. When all is said and done this is what I am left with: the original mortgage company took an extra mortgage payment from my account after they were paid out (I'm still fighting to get it back), the new mortgage company only consolidated the 1st and 2nd mortgage, nothing extra, the closing costs and legal fees were way more than expected, so now I have $2500 in credit card debt, $1500 owing to hydro (which was cut off Dec. 16th), my disabled husband's prescriptions are due $200 (no insurance), no food in the cupboards, no gifts for my family and I am $800 short on my next mortgage payment.
I have tried everything I can think of, the few friends I have, I have no family left to help, loans from banks, online where ever (I almost got got in a couple of scams), pay day loans are not an option because I work as a school bus driver and won't see my regular pays start up until the middle of January, needless to say if I had life insurance that would be my only option now but I don't. So here I am, asking for your help. If you can see your way to help my family I promise that anything that might come in that is more than we need I will pass on to someone else.
